A pet portrait makes the ideal gift for friends and family or even as a treat for yourself. It is also a lovely way to remember a pet who has sadly passed away.
I work from photographs of your pet to produce a detailed portrait in pencil. I specialise in dog portraits, head, full body, single or group subjects, but I am happy to undertake all types of pets if requested. Please take a look at my gallery for examples of my work.
I can work from digital or non-digital photos, in either colour or black and white. Photographs must be clear, you can send me a selection if you like, for me to choose from. The better the photograph, the better the portrait will be!!
If you take a photo specifically for me to draw then try to get a good close up with very clear eyes as this is the most important feature. Try not to take the photo in direct sunlight, instead sat near a window indoors or outside on a cloudy day is usually good. If you take a look at my gallery you will see examples of the ideal pose for me to draw from. If you would like a group photo, it is best to photograph them separately, but include a photo of them both together so I can get an accurate comparison of the size of your pets.
Prices start from £35 unframed, I can offer framed portraits if you prefer, these are subject to quotation. If you wish to have a group portrait of more than one pet please contact me for a price.
The portrait will be on good quality heavyweight artist paper and will be approximately 12" x 10". The portrait will be packed securely and despatched via Special Delivery which is insured against loss or damage - a signature will be required on delivery.
On completion of the portrait I will email you a proof copy for your approval, no payment is required until you have approved the finished copy. Once approved I accept payment by Paypal or cheque for the portrait and the postal charge, I will send you an invoice for your convenience which has instructions on how to pay.
